What is the best viewing spot?

Anywhere along the course will give you a great view of the Karts but there are 3 main areas:

Guide Dogs for the Blind Association HQ

This is our pit area. Go here to see the Karts up close and chat to the teams. Once racing begins ,  this is a good place to see the start and the Dog Leg Chicane.

This is where our big screen is located, so you can watch all the action.

Here you will also find a Bar and  food options including Pizza from Smokin Street Food.

Roselawn Corner

In front the Roselawn hotel is the fastest area of the track. This is where the Super Soaker feature is located – water pistols for sale – and the Roselawn Kicker – scene of some spectacular jumps last year!

Here you will also find another Bar and food from Mortimer Sausage Company , Chinese Noodles and an Ice-cream van.

Our Disabled parking and viewing area is here – right at the centre of all the action.

The Hatch

The finish line is at The Hatch. Cheer you favourite Karts as they cross the line and watch the award ceremony at the end of the event.

This is also where the Vintage Tractors will be on display prior to the Grand Parade.

For the kids, there will be a range of family entertainment including a Funfair.

Of course, The Hatch will have yet another Bar, and more food options, including curry by Burghfield Spices.

All the bars serve a range of real-ale from local breweries, chilled lager, cider by local producer Tutt’s Clump, wine & prosecco and soft drinks.

To reduce our usage of single-use plastic, we charge a £2 deposit for a reusable glass. At the end of the event you can keep the glass to reuse at home, donate your deposit to charity or return the glass to the bar for a refund. If you already have one of our reusable glasses from another Burghfield Santa’s event bring that along instead!

Card payments, including cash-back, are accepted at all the bars.

Grand Parade

The problem with Karts is that the only go down-hill!

To get them back to the top of the hill our friends at the Thames Valley branch of the National Vintage Tractor & Engine Club have come to the rescue.

They will be towing all the karts back up the course giving you an opportunity to see their vintage tractors and the karts up close.
